Color Laser Transfer
Why are leaders in the garment decorating, awards and personalized gift industries using Color Laser Transfer to put color images onto almost any substrate?
1. High Quality Graphics with No Special Inks
The toner you print plain paper with is the same toner that allows you to put an image onto almost any surface. This toner is considerably less expensive than dye sublimation inks. The toner bonds to your materials in the heat press producing accurate high quality graphics. No blurry text or images resulting from inks migrating too far, as often happens with dye sublimation.
2. Use Standard Materials
Another major advantage to Color Laser Transfer is that you can decorate the standard materials you are currently using; 100% cotton T-shirts, metal, plastic, vinyl, wood, mat board, POP board, handmade paper, glass, acrylic, ceramic plates, mugs and tiles, canvas bags, silk ties and on and on.
3. Highly Specialized Transfer Papers
Color Laser Transfer papers are each formulated to perform the specific application for which it is designed. For hard surfaces you want to transfer the toner only in most cases. A hard surface transfer paper is formulated to soften just enough to form a mold around the toner and hold it intact so that in the heat press the toner can liquefy and stick, like hot melt glue, to almost any surface.
Textile transfer paper is formulated to absorb and envelope the granules of toner and together lock the image into the weave of the fabric. There are several different textile papers, each designed for a specific application.
